Rosé 105 Tennis - Thursdays, 6pm

When introduced in 2019, Rosé Tennis was an instant hit. The process is simple: enjoyable and straightforward tennis coupled with a glass or two of Rosé. Easy!

Regardless of skill level or previous experience, this really is a game for everybody. Don’t miss out!

Emma & Bry’s Happy Hour on the Deck - Fridays, 6 pm

Kick your weekend off the Block Island way with our resident bartenders, Emma and Bry! Each Friday, they will be serving up tasty margaritas and cold beers.

Summer Party - Saturday, July 16, 6 pm

A highlight of the Block Island Club calendar! All adult members and their guests are invited to our annual Club party. This event is the perfect occasion to catch up with old friends, and meet new ones too!

We hold the party upstairs on the deck and in our function room/bar. There will be cocktails, apps, and live music by Cameron Greenlee.

The event is $50 for adults and $25 for children. RSVPs are required!

Teen Dance - Friday July 29, 6pm

The Teen Dance is a highlight of any youth social calendar. All kids over 11 are invited to get down on the dance floor and hang out at the Club.

DJs will be on hand to make sure the tunes are popping and the party doesn’t stop (until 8pm!). Drinks and snacks provided by the BIC.

BIC Tennis Fundraiser - TBC

The courts are getting busier and it’s time our tennis courts got some love! On Thursday, July 22, we will host a Rosé 105 evening like no other! There will be competitions for BIC merch, Fire Tennis, Shot of the evening prizes and, of course, there will be a classic round of Rosé 105. Gourmet food will be served alongside some cold glasses of Rosé.

The event will highlight some key areas of improvement needed for the BIC tennis facilities with the ultimate goal of installing a brand new court (or courts!). Your support would be hugely appreciated by the BIC team and our ever-growing BIC membership.

Parent / Child Sailing Regatta - Friday July 22, 2pm

Parents! It's time to dust off your swimsuits and get back on the water. This event is open to both experienced and novice sailors. The champions will proudly hold the first (unofficial) title of best Sailing Family in the BIC!

Parents and their kids will be racing our 420 sail boats in a regatta for all ages. There is no limit on number of teams per family!

2nd BIC Beach Cleanup - Tuesday July 26, 7.30am, Scotch Beach

Despite having one of the cleanest coastlines on the east coast, the Block Island beaches can still get dirty on the best of days.

Come out early and join us on Scotch Beach as we set out to give back to our wonderful, natural environment. We will provide gloves and bags (and snacks too!)

Parent / Child Tennis Tournament
Friday, July 29, 1pm

Forget the Olympics, this doubles tournament means so much more! Parents, its time to pick up your rackets and choose your favourite offspring to vie for the tennis glory!

We hope to have packed brackets for this one and there is no limit on the number of teams per family! Come down and mark your place in Block Island Tennis History!

3rd Annual BIC Clanathon - Thursday August 11, 2pm

After 2 hugely successful events, the Clanathon is back! The Clanathon is a mini triathlon for the whole family. The first leg is a quarter mile swim from the club dock, followed by a kayak and finally a 'cross country' run around the BIC property. 

Each leg must be completed by a different family member and at least one participant has to be over the age of 35!

The race will conclude with a prize giving and a cook-out with refreshments served at the clubhouse. This is set to be a seriously fun outing for all so bring the whole family out and get involved

Parent / Child Pickleball Tournament - Friday August 12, 1pm

With pickleball capturing the attention of the BIC, we thought it fitting to introduce the first annual, Parent / Child Pickleball tournament. The competition will be fierce so make sure to brush up and get ready!
