Private Sailing Lessons

Private sailing lessons are available to members and non-members of all ages and abilities. Lessons can be taken in any of our boats (click here for more). Lessons are available for complete beginners through boat rigging, racing technique, basic navigation, or sailing theory. Private lessons can also be arranged in groups.

For novices interested in our 26’ Keelboats, we recommend taking a couple of lessons to learn the fundamentals of setting up and controlling the boat as well as the basic techniques required to set sail and achieve competency on the water. Read about our 2-Day Keelboat Competency Program here.

Lessons cost $80/hour for members and $180/hour for non-members. This cost is regardless of the number of participants.
